Longing for Your Perfection

Under Your wings,
I find comfort
I find shelter
I find home.

Under Your roof,
I stand on the cornerstone
I stand on the foundation
I stand on the rock.

Under Your gaze,
I see mercy
I see forgiveness
I see love.

Under Your rules,
I learn truth
I learn passion
I learn guidance.

Inside Your arms,
I embrace warmth
I have rest
I can dance.

But,
I can't wait to be under Your wings
and at Home - finally,
to be everlastingly embraced
by Your Presence in Perfection

6  Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord--
7  for we walk by faith, not by sight--
8  we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.
